Dear FSL Users and Experts,
I am a rather new FSL user. I have been working with non-human primate dti data sets and would like to run 'tbss_sym' to look at some left-right differences. All data has been run through tbss_4. Along the way I have altered some of the scripts to be non-human primate compatible (instead of using human MNI templates). When I looked at the 'tbss_sym' script, it calls 'tbss_skeleton' and uses 'standard/LowerCingulum_1mm' as the 'search_rule_mask' input .... I think.
I have the following two questions:
1. What does the 'search_rule_mask' input do in the 'tbss_skeleton' script?
2. Would making my own 'LowerCingulum' template from my 'target' animal's mprage be a suitable substitute for this input? If my 'target' brain is slightly tilted towards the left should this be corrected first before a cingulum mask is created? How best to correct this...Nudge??
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Very respectfully,
Megan
