Dear colleagues,
I am writing to invite you to a new UNHCR - Institute of Commonwealth
Studies - Institute of Advanced Legal Studies seminar series on
International Refugee Law. A programme of the events in London for the
academic year 2010-2011 can be found below, the first event being on
Monday 25 October 2010 at 5.30pm.
Coinciding with the 60th anniversaries of the adoption of the UNHCR
Statute and the Refugee Convention, the objective is to provide a focal
point for scholars and practitioners working in the field to reflect on
the state of the art, to present and receive helpful feedback on their
current work, and to develop research and policy agendas for the future.
Please do not hesitate to disseminate this programme to others in the
field who may have an interest in attending. Kind regards,
