LECTURER, HERITAGE STUDIES (Socio-politics of the Past and Heritage Management)

Salary: £36,715-£46,510 pa

Applications are invited for a fixed-term 1-year lectureship in the Department of Archaeology, University of Cambridge during Dr Marie-Louise Stig Sørensen's leave to work on a project funded by the EU. The post holder will be a member of the teaching staff of the Department of Archaeology and will work in close collaboration with staff there and at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology to provide lectures and teaching in heritage at undergraduate and graduate levels. Additional duties in examination, assessment, supervision of graduate students and departmental administration will be required. Applicants should ideally have an active programme of research and publication.
This replacement appointment will be for one year, starting from 1 February 2011. The successful candidate will be expected to start at the base of the University Lecturer salary scale shown above.
