FP7 Co-operation ICT: Cognitive Systems and Robotics UK Information Day

The UK's Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) National
Contact Point for Framework Programme 7, in collaboration with the UK
Technology Strategy Board, The Institution of Engineering and Technology
& The Digital Systems Knowledge Transfer Network, will be holding an
Information Day on Research Opportunities in ICT Challenge 2 in London
on 13 October 2010.
Libor Kral, the head of the European Commission's Cognitive Systems,
Interaction and Robotics unit, will describe the context of the
opportunities presented in the Cognitive Systems and Robotics objective in
the Commission's 7th ICT call for proposals which opened recently.
Participants from current projects will describe their research and their
experience of working collaboratively with partners from across the
European Community and with the Commission. The UK National Contact Point
will discuss proposals, their evaluation and success. Newcomers are welcome
as the event will feature a one-to-one brokerage opportunity in the
afternoon.
