Post-Doctoral Fellowship (University Assistant, post doc)
at the Department of Statistics and Decision Support Systems
(Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics).

The position is meant to provide a young scientist in the years after
obtaining a Ph.D. with support to broaden and deepen his or her research
agenda. Employment (40 hrs/week) is based on a 2-year contract.
Duration of Employment: 01.09.2012, 40 hours/week
The successful applicant will join the faculty and participate in the
department's teaching, research, and administrative activities.
A Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, or a closely related discipline
(completed or pending completion); a strong background in mathematical
statistics and probability theory; interest in the theoretical and
applied analysis of model selection and related problems; and promising
potential for original high-level research.
