Dear Colleagues
**** Apologies for cross-posting***
'Design Matters' programme has worked with local communities across London over last two years to develop a portfolio of tools to engage young people with design of the built environment. Run by Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and developed from a research project, partnerships have included North Fulham New Deal for Communities (NDC), The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust and Copenhagen Youth Project (based in Kings Cross).
On 10th November the programme will launch its publication, 'Drawing on Windows. Design Matters: Engaging Young People with the Built Environment' which discusses the tools and teaching practices of the programme .
This seminar will be of interest to those in the arts & design HE & FE sector, in particular, Widening Participation practitioners, as well as those engaged in the field of urban design.
Please see the attached flier for more details about the event. RSVP: [log in to unmask] This is a FREE event.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Best wishes
Kirsty.
