Dear spm8 experts,
I have been working on a VBM covariance analysis (SPM8) with one
subject group. I previously found with FSL and the same statistical
analysis significant results but only when limiting the region of the
brain to an a priori hypothesized region. When running this same
analysis in SPM8 I have only been able to limit the VOI with a sphere
or a cube around a peak value or designated coordinate. I dont know if
it is valid to use a VOI around the peak value or if I need to find a
way to use the same region of interest used in FSL. I am also unclear
to how small I can validly make the VOI. It seems as if the smaller
the VOI the smaller the p value and therefore I could essentially make
any p value go to significant by making the VOI small enough.
Thank you,
Jeff
