Beyond News: How TV Covers Social Issues
The BBC College of Journalism is hosting an evening event to launch new research funded by the Economic and Social Research Council to look at the way social issues are portrayed in entertainment TV.
We hope you can join us for a presentation and panel discussion addressing key themes of the research.
* Can entertainment TV be seen to complement current affairs?
* Do producers seek to educate as well as entertain?
* And what does the audience think?
