Hello Oscar,
First thanks for commenting and sorry for having being silent for a few
days. Lets summarize and close the thread :
- I first asked about adding glexec to the relocatable distribution
- Maarten answered and explained why it was not a good idea and
suggesting a relocatable distribution of gLexec
- Mischa explained it was not so easy and would probably need rebuilding
to fit sites needs
I was worried by the possibility of a YAIM install of gLexec + a few
components from WN to mix with components from the relocatable WN.
I made a quick test and it seems OK since gLexec will fetch its
libraries in /opt/glite while the relocatable components will use
LD_LIBRARY_PATH to find its libraries wherever they are...
(If I understand well).
So thanks to you, I have a better view of what I can you to deploy
gLexec on the worker nodes and still use the relocatable distribution.

I did remove the edg-mkgridmap and all perl components it requires.
I also had to force adding the /opt/glite/lib64 and /opt/globus/lib
paths in /etc/ld.so.conf as the YAIM function config_glexec_wn would
do it only for a TARlike nodetype and glexec does not find its libraries
if I do not do it.
