A Global pharmaceutical company currently has a new opportunity for a Global Programming Head for Respiratory or Neurology, this is a permanent position. You would be based in there head office in Switzerland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads multi-functional, global teams including Data Management, Biostatistics and Statistical Reporting and coordinates with Medical & Scientific Writing and DB Programming to deliver clinical 1. study reports, submission documents, publications, abstracts and posters. Is a member of the Leadership team.
Accountable for data management, biostatistical, and statistical programming contributions across assigned global projects/programs. Provides in-depth expertise to influence development program strategies. Ensure that projects' objectives are met according to agreed timelines, quality, and scientific standards.
Accountable for Health Authority interactions in support of clinical projects, including responses to global Health Authority questions.
Accountable for quality of all deliverables and effective deployment of data management, statistical programming, and biostatistical resources within assigned program across multiple global sites. Drives productivity and efficiency measures within team to meet strategic imperatives and productivity targets. Negotiate commitment to the GPT, and for delivery against agreed targets. Accountable to prioritize resource allocation and capacity, ensuring deliverables are adequately sup-ported.
Accountable for all work remitted under the Global Franchise including the quality of deliverables for work outsourced to Contract Research Organizations.
Represents at key internal meetings to advance the Therapeutic Franchise in the areas of information science and clinical trial operations; develop effective partnership, share business critical information; and proactively drive innovation in meeting the goals.
Actively drive process improvement/LEAN initiatives in partnership with global colleagues.
Recruit and retain talent; coach and develop people. Establish a team founded on innovation, high performance and trust.
Responsible for utilization of all key resources and expertise, accountable to lead these resources in support of the Franchise products development, submission, approval and marketing support.
Minimum requirements
Advanced degree in science or relevant discipline or equivalent
Excellent English required (oral & written). Good skills in site (local) language desired (oral).
Minimum 10+ in drug development. Five - seven years managing a team preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Expert skills in managing and directing global multi-functional teams to a shared vision and a common goal.
Drug Development domain expert in clinical trial methodology: planning, execution, and reporting.
Project management proficiency.
Proven track record in working across a matrix organization and demonstrates skills in building partnerships, negotiating agreements and excels at collaboration.
