Hello,
In the information provider we have:
ls /opt/glite/etc/gip/provider/
glite-info-provider-service-bdii-site-wrapper glite-info-wrapper
glite-info-provider-site
Inside each of these is:
cat glite-info-provider-service-bdii-site-wrapper
#!/bin/sh
export
PATH=/opt/glite/bin:/opt/edg/bin:/opt/lcg/bin:/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/lib/jre/bin:/root/bin:/opt/glite/libexec
export BDII_HOST=fal-pygrid-17.lancs.ac.uk
/opt/glite/libexec/glite-info-service
/opt/glite/etc/glite-info-service-bdii-site.conf UKI-NORTHGRID-LANCS-HEP
[root@fal-pygrid-17 ~]# cat glite-info-wrapper
#!/bin/sh
export LANG=C
/opt/glite/libexec/glite-info-generic
/opt/glite/etc/gip/glite-info-generic.conf
[root@fal-pygrid-17 ~]# cat glite-info-provider-site
#!/bin/sh
/opt/glite/libexec/glite-info-provider-ldap -c
/opt/glite/etc/gip/site-urls.conf -m UKI-NORTHGRID-LANCS-HEP
This bdii is quite old, so it could be feeling the weight of a few years
of out-dated crust. It's looking like Ewan's suggestion of "start again
on a fresh VM" is the best way forward.
cheers,
Matt
