Isn't Nicholson more of a Satan? He already played that role in "The Witches of Eastwick."

Subject: Re: PL casting
Only if he plays it as he did his character in *As Good As It Gets* --
obnoxious superiority masking a deep and crippling sense of insecurity.
Morgan Freeman could also play God, as he has some experience in that role.
If we wanted to cast it as a comedy, perhaps Woody Allen?
If the film is going to be a relatively mindless popcorn action flick --
which seem to be the goal -- then Gerard Butler (Leonidas from *300*) should
be Michael, followed by a pack of impeccably muscled and toned angels.
Bradley Cooper (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0177896/) of *The Hangover*,*A-Team
*, and *Wedding Crashers* could be a good Satan; he's handsome but has an
edge of cynicism and smarm to him. Perhaps even better -- Julian McMahon (
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0573037/) from *Nip/Tuck* -- a pretty boy, but
with an infuriatingly smug look about him. For Adam, Shia LaBeouf of *
Transformers* and the upcoming *Wall Street* sequel; he's young and innocent
enough to be the first man, but also looks like a bit of a dunce, perfectly
capable of alienating Eve.
I can't think of a good Eve right now, but I like Christina Hendricks (
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0376716/) of *Mad Men* for Sin -- with a healthy
dose of CGI for the lower half of the body, of course. She has the beauty
and seductiveness of her father Satan, and the juxtaposition of her
Rubenesque upper-body with the horribly disfigured lower half would be the
perfect visual shock to bring home the character's paradoxically tempting
and destructive nature.
