Thanks for the clarification Meic. I really wasn't so much bothered about acronyms (life is too short) but rather in any rationale for the choice of "information & records management" over "records and information management", as the latter tends to be more frequently used, both in the long-hand form as well as the acronym. Of course someone is now going to Google both and let us know that IRM is more common than RIM just to prove me wrong ;-)
