A follow-up to that recent StoryCog job posting: I'm floored by the response. The job spec didn't exactly go viral but it's clearly been handed around quite widely, and I'm delighted with both the number and quality of applicants. There are some seriously smart people within reach of PSCI-COM and BIG-Chat, and some spectacularly impressive CVs.
I'm not swamped in the way I would have been had I advertised on, say, the broadcast-industry board ProductionBase, but I do have around three dozen excellent applicants, pretty much any of whom could likely do the job.
...so now I have to finish wading through their CVs.
I thought employers might be interested to know what the response was like. In short: terrific.
