I'm having a hard time opening the file. One entrant, A*, which is what I expected. The exam centre only offered the three skill test. He found the listening particularly easy and none of the papers particularly hard. He's not a native speaker but lived in China from ages 7-11. He was 13 when he took the GCSE. Preparation was using the British Council 'Chinese for GCSE' books, plus a lot of past papers. Because of comments in the examiners' reports from previous years, I also had him learn a lot of extra adjectives, to add colour to his writing.
