The Cranston Library was founded on 14 March 1701 by the Revd Andrew
Cranston. There are over two thousand books in the library, mainly dating
from the 17th and 18th centuries. There are also a number of earlier
printed volumes and some manuscripts. The library is one of the jewels of
Reigate?s heritage. (Registered Charity No. 237990).
