Dear FSL users,
I had 2 questions regarding probtrackx.
1. Regarding using 2 ROIs as multiple masks in probtrackx. When I check the waytotal to see how many tracts have reached the other end, I get way many tracts in one direction ie from ROI1 to 2, and very few in the other direction. I understand that the tracking may not be symmetric in both directions, but just wanted to know whether there were some thing else that could explain that, or what else I should check. ( The volumes of the masks are almost the same. Also the directions generated in V1 / dyads_1 seem to be fine)
2. Regarding using masks in subjects with lesions. Sometimes when I have a ROI mask, it overlaps with the subjects lesion. However, I still seem to get a streamline right into the area of the lesion. I am not sure about this; but one would expect lesser number of tracts ( waytotal) to reach the the ROI mask if it had a lesion.
Any suggestions or help is appreciated.
Thanks
