CALL FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS

We are looking for creative teachers of English for participating in exchange project in Russia (3, 6 or 12 months) from January 2011. The language project is aimed, on the one hand, at acquainting Russian children, youth and adults with diversity of European languages and cultures. On the other hand, foreign teachers living in host families and communicating with Russian people get to know Russia and the Russian language.
Teachers are expected to perform the following tasks: designing the curriculum of the language course, giving 20 language hours per week, participate in experience exchange seminars for teachers, participate in intercultural activities.
We provide teachers with the free accommodation in Russian families. We provide visa support. Teachers will be granted honorarium for their work.
The candidate teacher should meet the following criteria:
- be native speaker of English
- have some teaching experience and basic skills in designing the curriculum
- be able to pass medical checks and to obtain a Russian working visa
Russian is not required.
