Mark Henderson was mentioned, perhaps Hannah Devlin's "geek about
town" bit at the back of Eureka is maybe more to the point?
I don't think we need one named person. We don't need a sci com
academic, or a scientist, or a sci journo (or an arts one). I'd rather
lots of different people do this sort of work in lots of different
ways, reflecting the range of perspectives that overlap in science
communication.
This is already happening.
Though obviously it could happen more.
