Does anyone know how fsl handles contrasts between conditions with unequal cell sizes?
Example: I want to find areas showing greater activation to Event B than Event A. Every participant is in both conditions (just one scan per participant), but by necessity Event B occurs less frequently than Event A. So my question is, if I just set up a -1,1 type of contrast, will FSL give different weights to the events depending on how many times they occurred? And what is the usual way to handle this issue in fmri analyses?
