Howdy,
Some time between 2.1.3 and 2.1.5 the wrappers stopped using the preset
CCPNMR_TOP_DIR setting and started trying to automatically figure out the
installation location. Unfortunately one of my users has a fancy alias for
the 'cd' command that echoes some additional information out when used, and
this line:
setenv CCPNMR_BIN_DIR "`cd ${CCPNMR_BIN_DIR}; pwd`"
Was spitting out some shell color control characters and other information
which resulted in CCPNMR not being able to start up. I think changing the
shebang line on the wrappers to
#!/bin/csh -f
to avoid re-processing of the user's shell start up files will resolve that
problem.
