Hi everybody

Plans are afoot for an autumn meeting of the Intranets Forum, with Martin White as speaker. These meetings have been the backbone of the Forum, supported by the opportunity of electronic discussions here. But to secure both the autumn meeting and future ones for the year ahead I need to be aware of where we might be able to meet. 

I would be very grateful if anyone who thinks they are in a position to volunteer a room in their workplace for an early evening meeting could get in touch with me. Up to now the pattern has been a mid afternoon start, going on to around 6, with presentation facilities and space for up to 40 people, ideally with tea or coffee provided. We have concentrated mostly on central London up to now and are likely to do so for the next couple of meetings, but I would like to assess the availability of rooms outside London too.

Naturally my most immediate interest is in arranging a meeting in late September or early October, but offers for the year ahead will be most welcome. For the late September/early October meeting I need to know by Friday week - the 3rd September. But I would also love to be able to update you here on the longer term opportunities by Friday 17th September.

This is of course an opportunity to help secure future meetings of your forum, and perhaps gain prestige within your own workplace, and publicity amongst us for your employer!
