Subject: help with DNS problem
Hi,
according to this ticket:
https://gus.fzk.de/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=60653
in the context of biomed VO, some remote sites cannot do a reverse
lookup on our DPM pool nodes e.g.
storage001.ppgrid1.rhul.ac.uk 134.219.225.21
Authoritative name servers should be dns2.rhul.ac.uk dns3.rhul.ac.uk.
I am unable to reproduce this, either at CERN or at RHUL. Can anyone
else see any problem like this from their site?
I'd like to get an idea of whether it's likely to be a DNS problem
caused by RHUL or a problem at the site that is complaining.
Thanks,
Simon
