The Centre for Diet and Activity Research (CEDAR) is one of 5 UKCRC Centres of Excellence in Public Health Research. CEDAR invites applications for a number of Post Doctoral Research Associate positions in a portfolio of research related to developing effective public health interventions for changing population level dietary and physical activity behaviour.
Potential research areas include individual and societal determinants of dietary behaviour, physical activity and the workplace environment, the design and analysis of natural experiments and translational evidence synthesis for public health research.
The roles will follow the model of the MRC Career Development Fellowship Scheme which provides post-doctoral scientists with a fixed term training position to improve their research and transferable skills.
