hi Brock
> This is a beginner's question about preprocessing fMRI data. I would like to write out my coregistered T1 scan after aligning to my EPIs without going on to the normalization step (I'd like to do some things to the files before normalization). If I choose coregister and reslice, the structural is written out at the same resolution as the EPIs (i.e. 3x3x3mm). Is there a way to specify the resolution (i.e. 1x1x1mm) at that point?
You can just coregister:estimate, and not reslice. This will update
the header information in the structural image so that it is aligned
with the EPIs, but not reslice (and thus keep your original
resolution). You can verify this works by running checkReg before and
after coregistration; afterward, things should be nicely lined up,
even without reslicing.
Hope this helps,
Jonathan
