Hello
This may be of interest to Occupational Health Advisors and Providers working in Wales:
The Small Workplace Health Award (SWHA), launched by the Welsh Assembly Government in 2009, is a national mark of quality presented to organisations that have demonstrated their commitment to improving the health and well-being of their staff.
SWHA is aimed at businesses employing less than 50 people and provides a framework that supports workplace health improvement through the development of good business practice.
There are three levels of award, Bronze, Silver and Gold, which reflect the on-going development of the healthy organisation. Organisations are benchmarked against criteria at their respective award levels to identify areas for development and work towards achievement of these criteria before undergoing assessment.
Participation in the award scheme is free and practical advice is available.
For companies with more than 50 employees, the Corporate Health Standard is the award taken.
