Researchers' Tales at the BFI National Library.
Monday 13 September 2010 - with Patrick Russell and James Piers Taylor
We are very pleased to welcome Patrick Russell and James Piers Taylor - to the BFI National Library to talk about the forgotten history of Post-War British Documentary.
Patrick - Senior Curator, Non-Fiction at the BFI National Archive - and James - an independent curator and film historian - will talk about the challenges of navigating through an array of library and archive sources (including film, text and audio) and will share some of the exciting and entertaining discoveries made along the way. Their research supports a major BFI project that will see a book, DVD box-set, BFI Southbank season and film tour launched in November.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education.
