Dear Adrian,
Good to hear from you. I'd certainly recommend TalkWeb Solutions, our
technical partners on the new Collections Link site
(www.collectionslink.org.uk). They have been a great partner for us and
their core CMS is fully-featured and easy to work with. The advantage of
working with them for us has been the fact that they combine
off-the-shelf CMS functionality with bespoke development and extensible
support for eCommerce, SEO, design, mobile and marketing.
Their pricing has also been very competitive and we have had excellent
customer service and project management support from them throughout the
design and build process.
You can find their contact information at
http://www.talkwebsolutions.co.uk.
Hope that helps! Would be really interested to hear your shortlist (if
you're willing to share it!)
Sincerely,
Nick Poole

Subject: Website development company recommendations
Hello
I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the list - my
name is Adrian, I'm the (relatively) new Digital Media Manager at the
Horniman Museum in South London. I've been in post since June, and
following discussions here with interest.
Our main task at the Horniman this year is to implement a new CMS and
Collections website, for which we are shortly beginning a tender
process. To that end, I wondered whether any other members could
recommend digital agencies / development companies that we might work
with? Happy to hear any recommendations on- or off-list.
Regards,
Adrian
