Chris - this looks fab - are you going to do an Android version, too? Was the iPhone decision a business-based idea or were there other reasons for going with Apple?

Subject: Historical Maps IPhone App
Hello members
A small JISC grant has enabled a group of us to give public access to historical maps from the National Library of Scotland and Landmark (OS maps).
The maps centre around Edinburgh but there is also a map from 1890 for London.
It's a free app for the iPhone at the moment and if we have enough success we're hoping to encourage Landmark to release the maps for the entire UK.
We'd appreciate any thoughts or comments from the museum group.

It's proving enjoyable and popular to walk old streets, guided by the blue dot on the iPhone.
