This comes as a surprise since I always thought the plan was to open a globe museum! Those who came on the Isle of Wight trip during the 2007 SOC Summer School will recognise the museum building as the home of the Orrery Cafe (well worth a visit if you are visiting the IoW) and the globe makers Greaves and Thomas.
