Hi folks,
Info posted on behalf of IEEE.
===
Now your institution can provide IEEE Xplore access to off-site (remote) licensed users in addition to providing staff, students and researchers with single sign-on access. IEEE is offering Shibboleth and Athens authentication to universities, corporations and government agencies, as a convenient and secure single sign-on for users within your organization or across the Web.
Institutions that have already been setup to access IEEE Xplore via Athens or Shibboleth authentication can continue using IEEE Xplore as usual. If your institution has registered to access IEEE Xplore via Athens or Shibboleth authentication but has not been setup yet, you will be contacted by our technical team shortly to begin the setup process.
If you have not registered to access IEEE Xplore via Athens or Shibboleth authentication and would like to do so, please visit www.ieee.org/go/singlesignon to register. Please allow IEEE 2-3 weeks to setup your institution with access. We currently have a large number of institutions to setup and are working with various federations to set these up as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your interest in accessing IEEE Xplore via Athens or Shibboleth authentication.
Thank you,
Eva Veloso
