Hello,
By default many of tools write (0,0) as the calmin/max, which signals tools like fslview to automatically set an appropriate display range based on voxel values. To set calmin/max to the full voxel data range you can use the -range option in fslmaths, e.g:
fslmaths <myfile> -range <myfile>
