Hi,
If you set the environment variable FSLOUTPUTTYPE to be
NIFTI rather than NIFTI_GZ then you will get .nii files output by
all FSL commands rather than .nii.gz files.
You can set this environment variable temporarily in a given
terminal by doing:
export FSLOUTPUTTYPE=NIFTI
or more permanently by putting this line in your ~/.bashrc,
~/.bash_profile or ~/.profile file (choose the one that already
exists).
