Hi All,
Well spotted - the standalone dmg doesn't contain numpy! The fix you suggested will work (and was what I had planned but obviously forgot to mention), I had considered putting numpy straight into the dmg but I was anxious about numpy licensing issues.
I'll discuss this with the team when we're all back, and then build some numpified apps :-)

A temporary fix was to specify the Python path and import NumPy, but it is obviously tedious to do this every time. A longer term fix would be great if you have any suggestions. If this doesn't make sense, please ask Rasmus because he is currently here with us at a workshop and suggested the temporary fix.
