I can find no previous mention on the list, so I am posting this message now. I noticed a very short obituary in the Times on Tuesday 9 August for Felix Hull, with a fuller obituary in the Online edition. Those of us old enough to remember Felix, who was the County Archivist of Berkshire and then of Kent, will I'm sure, recall him as the most charming and friendly of human beings, not too lofty to spend time talking to us junior archivists. on the odd times we met him. He appears to have died on 28 May of this year, but for whatever reason the obituary has only appeared now. I am sure I will not be the only list member with fond memopries of Felix, and I thought others would wish to know the sad news. He was 95, so he had a good innings.
