MSc Applied Statistics with Medical Applications
The new Medical Applications pathway will equip you with specialist statistical techniques for use in support of evidence-based medicine and public health policy decision making. This programme is ideal if you are considering a career move into statistics and would like to work as a medical or pharmaceutical statistician, or if your work already involves aspects of data collection, management and exploration, and the interpretation of statistics in the healthcare industry.

For entry to a postgraduate programme in Applied Statistics, you must hold a 2nd class Bachelors degree with Mathematics or Statistics as a main field of study. The programmes are undertaken part-time over 2 years by students who work during the day, with lectures taking place in the evening. Note that you must be an EU citizen or otherwise have the right to work full-time in the UK in order to enrol in a part-time course.
