I wonder why the manager is asking the Q? Is one of their employees claiming
their eyesight has deteriorated due to wearing such PPE? If so they should
be reminded that the risk of not wearing PPE is unacceptable in a high risk
environment.
Obviously they should come from a reputable supplier, be in a good condition
and be comfortable and fit, they should have prescription lenses in them if
the person wears glasses (specsavers provide this) and dark glasses should
be offered for use when sunny particularly for people required to look in
one direction all day (like banksmen on a construction site).
Providing hard hats with integral eye protection keeps the eye protection
on the head and does not get lost or scratched.
