Hello all,
The London Animal Studies Reading Group brings together researchers from the humanities, law, and social sciences with an interest in understanding the human-animal relationship.
The group meets twice a month for one hour, usually on Mondays at lunchtime at the London School of Economics. The readings for the sessions are determined by group members collaboratively, and are drawn from a wide range of disciplines, approaches and fields. The next meeting is on the 31st August 2010, and will discuss Derrida's 'Eating Well' and 'Violence Against Animals'.
To register interest in the reading group and for further information, please contact Alasdair Cochrane ([log in to unmask]) or Krithika Srinivasan ([log in to unmask]).
Regards
Krithika
