Dear VSG Colleagues,
We (Chester Zoo) are currently thinking about abandoning our traditional
zoo guide book and providing some sort of an e-guide. Being a zoo we
need hardware that will work outside in high light levels and in wet
weather. This makes the selection of the media more complicated that a
traditional museum setting.
We are also thinking about the advantages of having our visitors
download applications at home before they come to the zoo; and the range
and hierarchy of information we can sensibly offer them.
Does anyone have any similar experiences they could share with me?
Many thanks,
Maggie
