Hi,
recently I noticed that /opt/glite/bin/glite-wms-wmproxy-purge-proxycache on our WMS was
returning errors such as:
Tue Jun 29 18:16:01 IST 2010: processing file: /var/glite/proxycache/4420ca6381c
286a0-3dcd5e9e89aae9fa
date: invalid date `Jun 30 02:23:31 2010 GMT'
/opt/glite/bin/glite-wms-wmproxy-purge-proxycache: line 40: [: 1277831761: unary
operator expected
expr: syntax error
Tue Jun 29 18:16:01 IST 2010: the proxy is still valid ( seconds left)
On inspecting this a bit more closely, I discovered that following:
[root@WMS proxycache]# date "+%s" -d "Jul 1 01:59:15 2010 GMT"
date: invalid date `Jul 1 01:59:15 2010 GMT'
[root@WMS proxycache]# date "+%s" -d "Jul 1 01:59:15 2010 IST"
1277945955
[root@WMS proxycache]# date "+%s" -d "Jul 1 01:59:15 2010 CET"
1277945955
Is anyone else in the UK seeing this problem on their WMS?
the date command is from "coreutils 5.21"
