Hello SPMers-
Is there a general (or even your individual) opinion on how PPI results may or may not inform one's hypothesized network to test with DCM? It seems like a logical intermediary and yet the DCM literature always goes directly from GLM results to DCM model construction. Are people agnostic about whether PPI results could yield info worth considering beyond one's a priori hypothesis and a knowledge of the literature? Or perhaps there's a difference in the two techniques that I'm missing that would actually make such a procedure misleading? Thank you so much.
