discussion and reflection on how Research Centres can respond to the ‘new’
times we find ourselves in. It is also an opportunity for ARCISS to find
its role in helping to support Centres in these challenging times.
The session will be run by Professor Alan France (Director of CRSP), Nigel
Meager (Director of Institute for Employment Studies) and Professor Ian
Sanderson (Director of Policy Research Institute). They will draw upon
their own experiences to the challenges and outline some of the risks that
we all face. The session will also look at strategies that could be
developed to maintain and improve our role in social science research.
