The Policy & Politics conference 2010 is taking place on 10th September in Bristol.
The theme of the conference is 'Politics of Austerity or the Austerity of Politics? New Social, Economic and Ecological Challenges for the Public Sector'.
It promises to be a stimulating event, with four plenary speakers:
- Neal Lawson, Chair of 'Compass' and author of All Consuming
- Bill Jordan, University of Plymouth, author of the forthcoming Why the Third Way Failed
- Athar Hussain, Director of the 'Asia Research Centre', London School of Economics
- Janet Newman, Open University, co-author of Publics, Politics and Power
There are also six panels divided into morning and afternoon sessions.
