This one day conference will explore issues of changing technology, impacts on patterns of regional and sub-regional change and policy implications.
Contributions are very welcome from researchers and policy professionals from all sectors including government and not-for-profit organisations, higher education and private sector organisations. A section of the conference programme will be reserved for ‘early career’ researchers – within 3 years of starting a first research/policy focused job or within 3 years of completing a doctorate.
Please submit a summary (up to 300 words) of your proposed contribution to [log in to unmask] by July 20th. We will confirm accepted contributions by July 24th. We are not asking for written contributions prior to the conference but will make any power-point presentations available on the web after the event. Any questions, contact the organisers (Anthony Plumridge and Andy Crawley, at UWE and Rich Harris at the University of Bristol) via Carolyn Webb, email as above or Tel: 0117 3283102.
As we need to cover costs, we will need to charge for attendance including those presenting contributions – we will circulate details with the general invitation to attend the conference which will be circulated shortly. There will however be a number of reduced cost places for PhD students.
