MRes in Gender Studies at Northumbria University
The Department of Humanities is delighted to invite applications for MRes Gender Studies Studentships in 2010, as part of its annual Postgraduate Awards Scheme. Successful candidates will be awarded a full fee waiver and a bursary of £5,000 (both available to UK/EU students only), from September 2010.

The MRes Gender Studies is a natural progression for those students who have developed an interest in issues around gender and are considering postgraduate study.
MRes Gender Studies actively welcomes candidates in the following areas:
• English Literature
• History
• Cultural Studies
• Film Studies
• Media Studies
• Modern Foreign Languages
• Social Sciences

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Membership is open to all who teach and research these subjects in HE institutions, via either institutional or individual membership. The field includes film and TV production, journalism, radio, photography, creative writing, publishing, interactive media and the web; and it includes higher education for media practice as well as for media studies.
