Dear Susan,
by googling this I only could discover, that Bibliotheca Ludwigiana had
been a collection of medicine books and had been auctioneered on 17th
January of 1774. (auction catalogue printed in Leipzig)
Perhaps (library or archive) colleagues of Leipzig could find out, who
the owner was. (Perhaps Christian Gottlieb Ludwig, died at Leipzig in
1773???)
Wi(r)th greetings
Bernhard
