Learn to evaluate and identify options for improving your library
Today's adaptive challenge concerns digital content for users and staff. The convergences of information technologies allow libraries to untie communication devices and networks. It gives them the ability to move multimedia content and become collaborative workplaces. Devices and networks include e-mail, mobile communications devices (e.g. smart phones), iPods and web pages.
To help you with these challenges, CILIP Events are hosting another popular Library as Place Masterclass on 7th September in Manchester which offers participants an interactive one-day event with formal presentations delivered by industry experts.
The Masterclass will consist of:
. Architectural planning concerns including: collections, staff and user services
. Planning exercises
. Visual Scan involving a library tour
. Data gathering techniques
. Case studies
Book now as attendance is restricted to a maximum of 35 delegates and visit
