Subject: FREE Archives Hub Training Day in London
There are still places available on the following free training day.
Archives Hub Training Day in London - 20th July
- Learn how to use our new EAD editor - helps you to create Hub descriptions
- Use the EAD editor to link to digital content from Hub descriptions
We are holding a Free Hub workshop in London on Tuesday 20th July
The workshops will offer Archives Hub contributors and potential contributors the chance to learn how to use our new EAD Editor to create collection-level and multi-level descriptions and how to link to digital content to add value to Archives Hub descriptions.
Our new EAD Editor is user friendly and has useful enhanced features. You will be able to load your records into the template and edit them. The new template enables easy linking to digital objects and we will demonstrate a whole host of additional benefits to the new system.
As you know, researchers are increasingly demanding links to digital content, and enabling users to search the Archives Hub and click straight through to examples of the content, including photographs, text files and audio files, will substantially improve their experience.
The workshops will include the opportunity for hands-on training and lunch and refreshments will be provided. As the workshops include hands-on places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Please email [log in to unmask], if you would like to book a place on a workshop.
