2011 Subscription Prices from The Company of Biologists

The Company of Biologists is pleased to announce that its 2011 journal prices are now available.
Development, Journal of Cell Science and The Journal of Experimental Biology
The Company has increased rates for 2011 by a small percentage in order to cover operating costs. Subscription prices were frozen for 2010 in recognition of the financial difficulties being experienced in the market. The current price rise represents a lower than average percentage rise over the past two years.

Disease Models & Mechanisms
In keeping with The Company’s not for profit status, dedication to intercommunity support within the biological sciences, and in recognition of the importance of the developing field of translational science –
Disease Models & Mechanisms www.dmm.biologists.org will be OPEN ACCESS FROM 2011.
From January 2011 all content will be immediately and permanently available online with all subscription and pay per view fees removed. Unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium is permitted provided the article is properly cited and is for non-commercial purposes. Disease Models & Mechanisms will have full issue deposition in PubMed Central for display immediately upon publication.
Disease Models & Mechanisms is hosted on HighWire and will be included in the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) www.doaj.org. Paper subscriptions to the journal will be available upon request. Librarians are asked to update their browsers to point to the FREE Content.
