We are delighted to announce:
- Continued dramatic growth of content: in 2011 we plan to publish 20,000 articles, compared to 14,000 in 2010. This 40% increase follows the trend in growth that began in 2007 when we published just 5,754 articles.
- This exceptional growth is being achieved without compromising our quality: in fact, 90% of our journals now have an impact factor above 3 (2009 Journal Citation Reports, Thomson Reuters 2010).
- For 2011, the cost per article will fall by 23% compared to 2010 - and that's before adding our package discounts.
As a learned society and a not-for-profit publisher, we want our users to benefit from this increase in both quality and quantity, at an affordable price.
Taking into account the increased content for many of our journals, we have applied variable price rises to our products for 2011. There are a number of ways you can purchase more, and save money:
- We have significantly increased the discounts on all our major packages, giving savings of up to 35%.
- Together we can work with you to build your own bespoke package to meet your users' needs.
